Meet the Founder

David Campbell

David Campbell, the founder of Cinema Hands Entertainment, brings over 15 years of web design, development, and graphic design expertise to the world of film production. An aspiring screenwriter with notable achievements, he is dedicated to inclusivity and the use of American Sign Language in cinema. His dream is to establish the first ASL film camp for deaf and hard-of-hearing children in Canada, making cinema more accessible and inclusive.

In addition to his web development expertise, David is a certified film production professional and possesses a certificate in Ultimate Screenwriting. He is also an aspiring screenwriter with notable achievements, having completed two scripts:

  1. A full-length feature film script.
  2. A short film script.

His dedication to storytelling has earned him recognition in the industry, including three prestigious accolades for his short film screenplay, 'The Bookstore Clerk':

  1. Finalist, Shore Scripts Short Film Fund Spring 2022.
  2. Quarterfinalist, Outstanding Screenplays Shorts Competition 2022.
  3. Quarterfinalist, Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards Season 7.
